What is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis is a scientific approach to understanding and changing behavior. It is often recommended for children with autism and other intellectual delays. ABA focuses on improving socially significant behaviors to create inclusiveness in the community, communication skills, and adaptive behaviors. All these improvements occur while decreasing maladaptive behaviors through environmental change.
